Looks like there's to be a job vacancy soon. You should get your application in quick Miss D.

Update.....

It is all over as of today, he has asked to just be friends and preserve both their marriages  eeek:

My boss is most upset and asked if we could go to lunch so she could chat. So off we toddle to the coffee shop at lunch time. She buys the drinks and then sits down and starts to talk about how she feels and stuff - getting a bit upset. Then in walks the man in question, waves to the two of us , he goes and gets a coffee and then proceeds to plonk himself down and talk for half an hour about the recent sailing trip he went on with his wife and other stuff. He hasn't a clue I know anything

We all had to leave together and then boss came back and went a found a room to ball her eyes out in  eeek:

Nope it deffo isn't.
.
The whole 'friends' thing is not really an option it's just a 'get out' clause. Just bollocks bollocks and more bollocks IMHO

Your boss, Miss D will soon turn into the 'woman scorned' don't let her take you down, it is going to get messy. noooo:

Tell the director to watch out for fish hooks and ground glass in his coffee. If there was any real management in your workplace they would both be moved sideways at a rate of knots.
Probably take 6 months and ?20,000 worth of lawyera and HR consultants though.
Not quite a regular ! Regular as clockwork me !
