Please tell me that I am not the only one who gets excited by the latest Maplins catalogue, going to the indexes first just for the sheer fun of it. cloud9: redface:

I bought a cable from them once and I'm now on their mailing list. Mine goes straight into the recycling bin, what am I missing? Same goes for Screwfix

I made the mistake of buying on line from Maplins. Never again and have now "unsubscribed" from their newsletter at least 12 times but still they come.
Sorry to tell you that I do not share your excitement. Their catalogue goes straight in the bin without even getting out of its plastic wrapper
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I have refurbished a few houses JOM so catalogues from Skrewfix and Maplins are staples of mine, these should not be confused with Staples who are an office suppliers who supply, well, offices I suppose.
