Another day, another dollar
« on: February 04, 2010, 05:32:22 PM »
Just about to set off for home after another day toiling over a hot desk.

There must be more to life than this.   Banghead Banghead Banghead

Which in my own sweet way was what I was trying to say.

Grass always looks greener but it isn't always anywhere near as tasty. Frankly I would be happier working in town than sitting on my arse waiting to die in North Wales.

If you have a choice it is worth considering but don't forget that even driving a desk has advantages that you will miss.

Now that is the question.

Yep. Sorry to be so blunt but it's the nail on the head  ;)

Someone I dearly respect asked me that, oh, about 30 years or so ago and it changed everything... well, let's say put a different focus on things.  No requirement to answer but certainly worth thought... and of course, there's no wrong answer, just the one you choose to live with.

I know Snoops and I do sympathise, but in a sense we're all waiting to die. It's what we do instead of twiddling our thumbs that I'm pondering. Driving the desk does, after all, bring in much more than a dollar a day and that to many is enough 'raison d'?tre'

I wish I knew what I wanted.
