Fractured I think... and the leg-bone...

Temporary cast at the moment - back on Friday for a proper cast and then 6-8 weeks of slavery for me...  noooo:

We were rescuing a dog that had been dumped in our road - very frightened....

We couldn't get near it for the past couple of weeks but we've been leaving food out and last night it wandered into next door's garden...

So, today we went round to pick up the dog and take it to the animal shelter. LL picked it up then promptly fell over on the slippery drive (I feel a compo claim coming on)... Luckily the dog was fine...  whistle:

LL had five X-Rays, plus a visit to the orthopaedic surgeon, temporary plaster and ?330 out of my wallet...  noooo:

Presumably the permanent plaster is even more expensive. Can't you do a DIY job with your angle grinder and some concrete?

Fill her up with collapso (use funnel if necessary) and do it anyway, you know it makes sense
