Don't worry Uncle. I will tell you all about his stories after you are home. In any case he only works on Liverpudlian brains, so he can't do much harm

Micro-surgeon eh?

Absolutely hilarious. well done!!! happy001

Right, back from the pre-op appointment and have signed the consent form.

Surgeon: "I have to tell you there's a 5-10% of..."

waits for me to say "death?"  eeek:

Actually it's the chances of something going wrong up to and including the clog popping option.

Let's hope he knows what he's doing  scared2:

I'm sure you'll be fine.

I once had a conversation with a cardiologist about angiograms ~ where they go in to the groin and pass a catheter through the main artery all the way to the heart and then take pictures or carry out other procedures such as stenting/angioplasty etc.
He told me that one in three has a "complication" .... he was about to perform the fourth one I underwent  eeek:

We discussed, as he carried out the op, the fact that like tossing a coin the odds return to zero each time.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I sure I'll be fine as well.

After all the discussions about the procedure and the recovery and a visit to the ITU ward it brought back memories of my previous op.

As I walked out of the hospital I felt oddly detached from reality. The feeling has only just gone.
