"Annnnnnnnnne" is Eskimo (OK Inuit  ::) ) for 'Constipation'.

Happy birthday Snoopy, and as another old codger said,
''You know you're getting old when the candles cost more than the cake."

The party started on Saturday (hence my absence over the weekend) with the surprise visit of Eldest Daughter + her Husband and favourite Grandchild. I don't normally like surprises (being a curmudgeonly old b@st@rd) but I haven't seen them for over a year and it was all very nice. Mrs Snoopy knew all about it and put on a good spread (with best dog bowls and everything).
The actual day is Wednesday so I am wondering what else has been cooked up that I don't know about.
Thanks to all here for the good wishes.
60 doesn't seem so bad now I've just about got there ~ I am determined to improve my health and live to the full whatever time I have left. Sometimes it feels as though it wont be long and at other times I feel like an 18 year old (but that would certainly see me off  ;D).
Anyway Fanks again. The beers are on me.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Reminds me of the time when the local rugger-buggers put on a party for a mate of miine. They'd only gone and ordered a 'gobble-gram' hadn't they!

9:00 p.m. arrives, so does rather fetching looking female looking for 'birthday boy'. Up he goes, (bear in mind we are talking rugby club here) and said fetching female proceeds to play his pink oboe for him. Great enjoyment on his part!

As female is leaving, 'she' lifts her dress to reveal

meat and two veg!

He was not a happy birthday boy and vowed to dismember whoever had organised his 'surprise' - as far as I know, he never did find out.

How embarassing would that be if it happened to you?  eeek: eeek:

Happens a lot. One gets used to it. It is the inbreeding problem locally which is discussed elsewhere.

Not voluntarily but in our local little Tesco it is a hazard. Inbreeding you see. They sort of jump out at you. Ask Growler.
