I seem to be just treading water at the moment,  I know better get a plumber in then, confused: Can't wait for the summer and some certainty.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Could I buy a new or 2nd hand one over there and bring it back here and make a profit like? rubschin:

Vice versa p'raps even? rubschin:

I have no idea to be honest, there are plenty of the things around tho...

Check out this site which will help you compare prices...

Motorbikes are very expensive here - a new Fireblade costs ?16,000!  eeek:

My guess is that bringing from the UK to here would be cheaper....

So if I was to buy a 'wasp' and drove/rode it down there, I could possibly make some dosh on it? rubschin:

I don't know what you would buy for in the UK but yes, there are people that bring bikes in and make money on it.... A wasp wound't have much duty to be paid but you'd have to go through the registration process....

Which is? Long winded, expensive and laborious by chance?

Couldn't I just drive in as a 'appy tourist like, and dump it on a dealer to sort out all that shite?
I generally speaking 'don't do' paperwerk if at all possible. rubschin:

I could dump it on you to sell even!   angel1

If it survived the journey  whistle:

Drove a Kawata 'wasp' from JoG's to Lands End in 3 days in '98 I think it was, and apart from fuel starvation going over Shap, it didn't miss a beat. noooo:

http://members.multimania.co.uk/motobykz/Kawata/kawata.htm

They did an article with piccies on me and their bike in Motorcycle News!
Gave me a brand new spare bike in a van that followed me all the way, but it never tyrned a wheel.

I had to give the bikes back to them though unfortunately. sad32:

You can keep a vehicle on UK plates for six months so yes, I suppose you could dump it on a dealer or at my owse...

Fair old trip tho....  rubschin:

And I think you'll have to stuff it in a container at Piraus and follow it down by ferry separately.... You can't go through Turkey as it will be deemed as an illegal port of entry and the bike would be worthless....

A mate of mine once biked to Cyprus to visit some friends. It was when the island was still divided. He entered on the wrong side and the closest he got to their house was looking at it through binoculars  ::)

Sounds good to me chief. happy088

Not remotely bothered about the mileage tbh. What would it be?  rubschin:
3000 miles?

Nick is bored. He could be my back up vehicle. eeek:

I'm going to get in touch with Kawata. I think I'll be cheeky and ask them to donate a wasp. angel1

Ride the Wasp over to Cyprus, (you have to ride it to Salerno in Italy and get a Grimaldi freighter to Limassol) and do this
