Sounds good to me chief. happy088

Not remotely bothered about the mileage tbh. What would it be?  rubschin:
3000 miles?

Nick is bored. He could be my back up vehicle. eeek:

I'm going to get in touch with Kawata. I think I'll be cheeky and ask them to donate a wasp. angel1

2000 miles as the airplane flies....

So problee about 2500 by road then?

Not actually too far that. Wonder if I could do it the other way 'round like? rubschin:

A mate of mine went back from here by car... I'll try and find his route....

The advantage would be that you could go out of Kyrenia to Turkey....

Know some one who took a Bentley back that route- 4 drivers -spent more time at the TRNC border than it took them to get to Austria  redface: Piss of piss really cussing:
BTW the Bentley is back now ( ship wise, that is) whistle:
This is looking as though it could be problematic.
I can't be doing with petulant jobs werthy Turks wanting reams of bloody useless  paperwerk as I'll just end up losing me rag and end up in the nick.

Is there no other route, or am I going to simply have to do another JOG-Lands End or summat? ::)

I think he is implying that it didn't take long at all...

Getting over the boarder into TRNC the occupied areas is easy....

I'll dig out my mates Itinerarywhotsit for you....

As I read it BM, it took him ages to get through the Turkish border, or am I going senile?
(That wasn't a question that requires an answer btw)

I think they were driving the Bentley fast...

Honestly, getting over the border is a piece of urine - you need a visa (ker-ching) and you have to buy their car insurance (ker-ching) then you are away... Five minutes unless the border is very busy...

Why not fly to Cyprus ?

Get yourself out to Perugia on a scheduled flight and I could take you the rest of the way. We could route Perugia-Brindisi-Athens-Paphos.
In good weather we could do it low level with the doors open.
Ho'ws your map reading, Nick ?

Sorry - I wasn't very clear there - the time was spent at the port, not the border with the Islamic Republican State of Northern Cyprus. If your papers are in order then i am sure there won't be a problem. whistle:
