I tend to feel that way about it too Miss D, but it was on when I came in from the garden and they were just about to start. I thought I'd watch the first couple of laps as that's when any action happens (I think 99% watch for the accidents) but for once it wasn't a procession after corner one. I watched till the end.

Like Hammy, but this is crazy.
Can't be the money surely? They earn staggering amounts already so cannot see that being the reason.

Merc have shown to be crap for several years now, winning just one race in the last 2 years iirc.
Probably going to say he needs a new challenge or some other such crap.

Very disappointed.

Apparently not, as I suggested.
He'll be on the same eye watering..... 15MILLION p.a. plus add ons as he was/is at McLaren.

It must be 2 - 3 years since I last watched a grand prix, it had become too much of a procession for my liking. Having seen the track before, I was drawn to todays because of the track, buildings, location. Glad I watched it now, great race, and floodlit racing seemed to enhance the whole thing

Crashes do tend to make it interesting.
Gutted for Hammy though, as the race was his up until his retirement.
