Local shops for local people
« on: March 23, 2010, 09:35:49 AM »
 cussing:

There is  a small corner shop near here run by two old wimmin and a dim girl. I hate going there  Banghead

They have no system for  Banghead Bangheaddoing anything and spend most of their time gassing, faffing, eating, chatting on the phone etc.

If there are ten customers only the girl serves (while on the phone "Ooh then what did she say....?") and if there is only one customer (e.g. me) they stand about chattering to each other, so that when they finally manage to give me what I asked for they have got it wrong cos they weren't listening  cussing:

Opposite is a grocery shop run by, yes, three wimmin.

Fooking ditto  cussing:

Shame that PROPER, old style coener shops don't exits anymore.

I can remember the one at the end of our road (now a vets), lotsa penny sweets.

Oh yeah, and the day the shop window was blown out when a bottle of Lucozade over-heated in the sun-shine.
