Darwin called it right, I have oilseed rape on three sides of the house at the moment. Interestingly, on the fourth side they grow roofs. Well not actual roofs, but those living ones that the tree-huggers like... like

The dark patches are shadows from the acacia trees, the brown bits are where its burnt from the sun. I've never know burnt lawn in April before. The overnight rain and showers this weekend should have it looking like the centre court at Wimbledon soon, but not like this (who I'm sure will have a beautifully maintained lawn)
