They've been 're-juvinating' the white lines for the cycle lanes on the main road here.
Bloody big crater just 200yds from here, half in the cycle lane, half in the road.
The obvious brainless arse hole that did the painting has only gone and rolled his painting machine straight through the crater, presumably for the sake of continuity!

Staggering, quite staggering.

This is the A41 too ironicaly, 8 miles before it's northern end vanishes into the river Mersey

Well it's now 4 and 6 weeks since I rang up about this crater.
They assured me they were going to look into it.

I assume that is all they have done, if that even.....look into it.

Meanwhile, a mere 15 feet away, they have just completed re-instating a central pedestrian refuge that they seemingly had to remove for the utilities clowns that needed to install some new pipes recently.
Very nicely tarmaced I must say. Shame they didn't have the intelligence to lob a shovelful into the gaping crater that I've been ranting about that they must have virtually been standing in.

Well while I'm in an exceedingly foul mood, I thought this would be a good time to ring up the useless Cheshire West highways dept, and remind them that absolutely NOTHING has been done since my complaint to them 6 months ago.
Virtually all of the white markers indicating the craters have been worn away now and I told them it's an absolute bloody disgrace.
If N. Wales can sort their roads out, where the weather and consequential damage is/was much worse, then why can't they get their fat lazy arses out of the offices/depots, and at least chuck some land fill waste in them?

I have informed them that I'm having my car inspected for suspension and tyre damage, and any found that can attributed to their lack of maintainance, will be invoiced to them, bloody no marrks.

I've no doubt that if you got a back of quick set asphalt from Wicks and fixed it yourself the bastards would have a team of engineers out faster than you could say "fuck me" to dig it out again... for Elfin Safety reasons like... I'm sure JOM can comment...
