The all new VP Lexicon thread
« on: April 07, 2010, 05:09:09 PM »
We have developed our own language, which I find interesting. Let us make a list. Here are four to start with:

Plankmouse
Mahoosive
Disgusterous
Gubbed

There are many more.

I find myself using them in real life now, with odd results.

I think Nick's point is that whilst the words may be in "family" use (Scorchio for example) the VP forum has spread them and now we are all using them. We are developing a jargon of our own.

I had never heard the expression "Food of ultimate wrongness" before it was used in here but have recently used it a couple of times in conversation with my family who have now all adopted it. The kids no longer say "I don't like this" but rather "Mum has served a food of ultimate wrongness again"
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Aaaah my words of wisdom are spreading ......even though we may disagree over what constitutes a food of wrongness  cloud9:

I also like very much the term buggerybollox which I learnt here  cloud9:

I understand that 'Yumster' is is general use, but I have only encountered its use in here.

Odd? You? Surely not.  whistle:
