I hate it when they go Pete Tong and seem to conspire against you...I was trying to compile some code (Java) today but one of the libraries is only available in a 32-bit version and won't run on my 64-bit PC.Drag out spare PC with XP on it... doesn't work - no video... worked fine when I put it away three or four months ago...Am now surrounded by piles of bits and PCs (see what I did there?) and am re-installing XP on another kludged together system...One of the errors earlier on an old XP disc was 'you can't log-on to this PC until XP is registered' ... of course you can't register it until you can log-on and configure the Intermong... and so on ad infinitum.....
