Pastis, get your mask out of storage
« on: April 15, 2010, 08:54:24 AM »
Thank god for the volcano erupting , it's put a stop to the wall to wall coverage of the election

Most of the UK airports have already closed as the dust heads north to south. Guess who's heading up North to Shropshire in a few minutes  cry:

It should get to Growlers area (and Nick's micro-climate first)

We're doomed, we're doomed

Since it was over Manchester, at a height of between 6 and 11 k, at 0800 this morning and was moving south I should think it has long since gone from here. The sun has not stopped shining.

Total shutdown since noon.

Icelandic woman on Beeb news said that the last time this thing erupted, it lasted for 18 months.

Piss poor reporting on the Beeb this morning...

Going on about a Jumbo jet somewhere had a problem once with its engines or summat...

Half an hour earlier Sky news had the pilot of the 747 on the phone giving a detailed account of what happened....  ::)
