New 'touch screen' 'phone.

New mobby, Samsung.

I'm finding it very difficult to use. Too many features. Just tried answering it and cut them off. Tried ringing them back and the camera came on.
Can't use the speakers when I'm driving, as you have to go through a series of 'touch' sessions to activate it, unlike the old proper one that you just pressed 1 button.

Went into my diary to retrieve a number. You have to scroll by 'touch'.
Generally speaking, it doesn't scroll unless you use the feather (not supplied) to perform the task.
Took me 5 minutes before it finally reached the name required after accidentally dialling several contacts I didn't want to speak to.

NOBODY other than myself has suffered or been screamed at regarding this matter.
I have NOT 'gone off on one' at Mrs G

I know, it's only a phone, and there are far more important things in life to worry about.
Just thought I would 'nervously' share my slight frustrations with you.

I am actually scared of touching it.

O2. Upgrade.
MM has been nagging me to get rid of my old phone as it was tatty.
Buttons missing and scratched granted. About 6/7 years old, but it was 'comfy'.

I'm going to put the sim card back in it IF it can be founmd in MM's landfill site', more commonly known as a bedroom.
She twiddled and fiddled with the new one, and transferred all my stuff off the old one, and now she can't find it for me to re-commence my aquaintance with.

I have NOT shouted at her btw as she was intially very helpful for which I am most grateful and thankful

It'll take some time to get used to but you will be whizzing round the screens in no time.

You may even be impressed with the increased functionality once you've learnt how to use it properly like.

Don't make hasty decisions and stick with it for a little while longer

Only if the desire becomes that uncontollable, yes.

beleive me. Life is far less stressful without all this gadgetry.

Quills and Quink never let you down did they?
Licking a stamp and posting was never really such a great trauma was it?
Dialling (as opposed to pressing buttons) a number on a good old fashioned telephone was almost a pleasurable experience.
Pidgeons are fine animals and can even help you relax listening to them coo.

All slightly better than staring at some screen or other, wondering wtf to do next.

Life wqas much slower and more relaxing in those days, but now we're all being sucked along and FORCED into having the latest must not really have gadgets.
I find that quite sad tbh, but hey ho, that's just me I suppose. Old fashioned and slightly grumpy sometimes.
