I'd be having a 'word' with the eejit that put it on in the first place BM, and then demanding he remove it at his own expense.

Tried helping an old geezer  with a puncture a couple of weeks ago.
Bent his wheelbrace over completely and rendered it useless. ::)

I always throw away the manufacturer's supplied wheel brace and carry a "Spider"  whistle:
