Not coming up to expectations
« on: May 16, 2010, 07:32:04 PM »
Two recent posts prompted this, TMR's about Radiohead, and Barman's about Extreme's "More than words"

In both cases I bought the album (OK Computer and Pornagraffiti) on the strength of hearing one track, and found the rest of the album to be crap. The only other one I can think of is REM's "Automatic for the People" which had two good tracks, and the rest were crap

Yours were?...

Half agree, but I think "Let Down" is a good tune and a couple more are passable.

I bought a Manic Street Preachers album on the strength of one song and I thought the best tune on it was "Ready for Drowning", was the best there - see what you think.
