I did bump into an old actor friend in London yesterday and had a pint with him. He was in Lord of the Flies.

I thought "Lord of the Flies" was an oblique reference to a rather louche watering hole in Fitzrovia  redface:
Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"

A propos of the S, I met David Jacobs today. Definitely with an S unlike the cream cracker.

My word, fine fettle for 81 and sharp as a knife confused:

(Edit.) I would like to point out that anyone who thinks meeting David Jacobs is willy-waving needs their zimmer frame adjusting. OK (Edit.)

I'll ask him tomorrow... watch this space  ;)

Otherwise, I have no idea... apart from Janice from Wednesbury who always seemed to give it "Foive" whistle:

I told him that I still remembered him from Juke Box Jury.

He said, "What's remarkable is... So do I. It was 37 years ago  eeek: "

He's still billed as a legendary radio megastar.

His comment: "Good grief. Really?"
