Birthday on Friday left me knackered, Missus and children all went to see her mother for the day yesterday so I spent the morning in bed with the papers, lazed around all afternoon and then back to bed early with a vacuum jug of hot water and some green-tea bags + a couple of books. They all got back about 10.30 by which time I had realised that I wasn't really tired. Woke at 5 for no reason other than there is only so much sleep that anyone needs. Missus, having driven 300+ miles yesterday and cleaned her mother's house (old lady had a stroke last year) whilst she was there, was still sound asleep and frankly I didn't think a 5am suggestion of  eyes: would be appreciated so I got up to make myself tea and see who was on the interwebnetthingy.
LL says she was still awake at 5...  rubschin:

And she didn't think a 5am  eyes: would be welcomed either?
No...  noooo:

I've been here an hour and a half. Where is everyone ~ all hung over?

I've been working. Just got back... and tea, tea, tea and toast isn't just good for hangovers. Give me and an hour or so and I'll be cutting the grass, may even start doing a base for the new shed ... or maybe not

 happy100. Never mind.

My lot are up now and she has made me scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and croisants. Must still be my birthday ..... she has also announced that she is taking the children to a local country park for a history (re-enactment) session they are running this morning ~ so peace will reign here until after 1 o'clock  cloud9:

Much as I like the full English, scrabled egg with smoked salmon is close to food heaven for me, just a sprinkling of paprika on mine  cloud9:

Hello ~ They've all p*ssed off, even BM and he lives here. Something I said do you think?

Or was it that the Mail on Sunday is giving away a Barry Manilow CD today and they've all rushed to the newsagents to get one?

I've been out...

Jumped into the swimming pool up the road to rescue a goat - ungrateful bastard just bleated (or whatever goats do) and ran off...

Then collected a tonne of water from the borehole...

LL now awake and expecting coffee and toast in bed...  evil:

I have just been chatting to SMiley Ken, the local joiner. A craftsman.PLays blues guitar. Enjoys cricket. Always happy ( evil:)

He is off to the South of France to work on some joinery in an old farmhouse near Avignon. Will live there alone in a little village. With a pool. And get paid for it.
