Is this what Wenchy has to look forward to?

I imagine the idea of you declining gives Wenchy a lot to which she can look forward.  whistle:

Tonight we are being entertained by a troupe of Nubian dancers.

I misheard the entertainment manager - I thought he said "Nude dancers".

It's not quite the same...

This beer goes down far, far too easily...

No one about this early, I see.

Anybody else seen a Xmas tree up yet?

There is one in the pub already!

I have total faith in the backroom boys.

Heard all about it on the wireless this morning and wondered why it is called a "Hadron collider" when it is used for banging Protons together?

Is "Le proton collider" something rude in French?

If it does create a black hole, can't we just use it like a sort of Galactic Waste Bin and throw in all the nuclear waste, old fridges, dead goats etc.?

Apparently at the moment they are just making sure the protons are running correctly so they are checking their paths between the magnets. Then once they are following the correct path they let them run for a bit before introducing anything else. So we still have a few days.

They aren't allowing it to go all the way around as they need to check it is running on the right path. So they are checking in sections.
