Believe me the method described of killing a quail is a lot kinder than the way they kill chickens commercially. That is not at all pleasant to see.

Large Scissors.
Their necks are no thicker that my finger. You try getting one to stand still whilst you swing an axe at it. Little b@st@rds run like b*ggery the whole time anyway. Best method of despatch is to pick it up. Hold it in one hand with the head sticking out and SNIP!


Vegans have a lower incidence of premature hair loss as well.
