I have been reading McCarthy's Bar by Pete McCarthy.

It's making me laugh quite a lot.

Being half Irish probably accounts for a lot of it.

Putting a little bit of (in)sanity back into my life.

Good book ~ enjoyed it a lot ~ be even better in the book review thread  whistle:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

We went up a river valley and it was quite wet and muddy in places... 13 Pajeros and 30 of us...

No Piccies...  noooo:

Stopped at an ancient monastery... then a winery then lunch...

The whole thing including full English, a roast chicken lunch with salad, free wine and coffee was €30 for the two of us...  cloud9:

You want sympathy?   I was actually thinking of Cyprus today whilst reading one of Nick's recommendations... The Road to Oxiana. But that was Cyprus in the 30's  eeek:
