I don't think they did docking back then. More like shunting and coupling  ;)

More stressful on the knees though Pastis  ;)

How thoughtful Miss D  lol:
Although it's back to about 90% load bearing function I've no intention of testing it kneeling  eyes:

It requires a diagram. And it was a collaborative effort with some insane old ladyin a Micra. Between us we blocked a whole street and all adjacent streets for 20 minutes. We eventually managed to escape, but everyone else was still gridlocked and yelling  lol:

They may still be there  point:

FFS! You can watch a dvd on your laptop!

I have a fully functioning big screen plasma TV. I refuse to watch a DVD on my effing laptop.

Here you go!  whistle:

BUT IT DOESN'T RECORD YOU PLONKER! Banghead
When it graduates from Player to Record & Play ~ then and only then will I replace my trusty DVD Recorder/Player
He doesn't want to record you plank!  lol:

Oh but he will ~ he will. noooo:

Anywhoo it is but the work of seconds to run the DVD through the laptop and connect it to the big screen.
His DVD has packed up... he needs to buy a Blu-Ray player and leap into the 21st Century...  ;)
Leap? Do you think that is really necessary? I am just ambling into the 20th.. i might just take a quick peek at the 21st, out of curiosity.

My betamax and 8 track are still functional.

How's your reel to reel GOS?  ;)
Crickey how did you know I had one of them? It was a Grundig.. a brill bit of kit.. in it's day lol:
