I tried one of those "This will sort out your remote problems ~ everything can be controlled from this one remote" thingies.

Nah ~ Didn't work  noooo:
I have one in the minema that controls the projector, Blu-Ray player, sound system and lights... gobbles batteries tho...

I tried one in the sitting room to do the TV, DVD recorder, VCR, Sky box and Stereo system. Wouldn't recognise any of them. Marched back to Currys and they said "You can't have set it up right" so I said "OK Smartarse, you set it up  to operate at least three remotely controlled items in this shop whilst I watch"
Twenty minutes, three new remote controls and four sweaty oiks (cursing and fuming) later they gave me a refund. angel1
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

If God had intended Remote controls to be found he wouldn't have invented marriage. whistle:

Have been to the hospital...  noooo:

I carted about a tonne of stuff in for her - lotions and potions from the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, brush, hot brush, hair dryer, underwear, trousers, tops, etc.

LL: You haven't brought pyjamas  evil:
BM: You're wearing pyjamas
LL: these are hospital ones  evil:

So I had to go to Debenhams and buy two sets of pyjamas and a dressing gown thing - the woman behind the counter gave me a very strange look...  noooo:

I'm not surprised, were they your size?
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
