Having dropped Mrs TMRBB, the daughter, the son, the son's girlfriend and the mad friend of Mrs TMRBB at Gatwick, I now have a week of peace and solitude  cloud9:

Is it just me then, or is there something appealing about "going it alone"?

My lot left at 7am to visit her mother in Lincolnshire.

I have had additional sleeping-in time, the luxury of a bath without anyone banging on the door wanting the toilet (there is another toilet downstairs) and am now going to eat some brekky. I may then get dressed and collect the papers or may forget them and make do with the 24 news channels.

The family will not be back until between 10 and 11pm tonight, by which time with the aid of my usual pills and some alcohol I shall be fast asleep.

Peace and quiet for the entire day.  cloud9:

Trouble is there is now nowhere to sit in the house  cussing:

Mrs Nick emptied the contents of her car before leaving, so even the kitchen is full of shite. This includes a fooking lawnmower!!

Yes ~ I have just surveyed the devastation that used to be our kitchen.

How hard is it to put the milk back in the fridge, the cereals back in the cupboard and the fvcking washing up into the dish washer?
