. I'd just done what I needed to at Old Street and was on my way back reading the chapter on Liverpool St., Fenchurch St. and Marylebone when it occurred to me that I hadn't seen the new St Pancras. A throw of the dice and a quick divert and up to St P's to see the new structures. It's very impressive and of course now has the 'romance' of the international connection. Every London rail station has a very different character for me, probably tied in with their varied destinations ~ the West country for Paddington, ooop North for Euston, the South and the sea from Waterloo and Victoria.
