Youngs are not known for cheapness. Does keep a lot of the scum out though.

Probably a £1 to £1-50 cheaper at The Festering Moon (Wetherspoons) up the road.
Ah, the source of all evil according the the numpty on the radio this morning...  noooo:

An elegant hound such as a Beagle is unassailable. A bald git who rides a single cylinder, however, is worthy of relentless and vociferous abuse.

Ya big, bald Jessie!

Well, i ask you. Carling is pisswater and up here I wouldnt expect to pay more than 2 quid for it even if I were that way inclined. I know Tel & co are down sarf but even so....

I'm no booze snob but it's robbery, still if your daft enough to drink Carling then i suppose your daft enough to pay for it.

I think my cat wants to kill me...

Oooohh! Somebody's tired...

Good film that, a friend of mine is in it - one of the porter blokes that takes Renton into the hospital after he falls through the floor.

Renton was played by Ewan McGregor - also known for riding big limp bikes. I think I spot a trend here...

Good point. Well presented.

BUT - with the large redundancy is will get within a year, dealers are falling over their feet to give me test rides on all sorts of kit. I shall make the most of their profit hunger for now...

(Can't believe you haven't seen Trainspotting - that was out when I had a 386 processor!)
