Lasagne
courgette flowers stuffed with anchovies and pecorino
a good moist roast chicken
schnitzel
steak that isn't shoe leather
Broad bean risotto
Focacia
Brie and bacon cibatta
sausage and mash
flapjacks
chocolate orange cheesecake

That's what I've cooked this week and all was edible and tasty! So there!

Don't know about them, but with the exception of the bangers 'n' mash I wouldn't know whether you cooked it proper or not...       my famed addiction to Lasagna is a load of cobblers anyway.  Pure rumour   whistle:

Do you mean Lasagne?  whistle:

On the subject of food, I think it's about time I ate something - it's Friday night now and the last thing I ate was on Tuesday - plenty of Young's in-between mind - so I fancy a good fry-up. I don't like these Yank "Hash Brown" contraptions, nor chips, so would mash and/or boiled new potatos go with Pork and Lamb chops, Beef sausages, Sirloin steak, mushrooms, tomatoes, two fried eggs and some Heinz Baked Beans?

Answers quickly please, else I'll eat the bastard noisy Budgies and greedy goldfish.

Most of it was cooked from scratched and the "exotic" ingredients all came from the local PYO farm.

I presume it is too late to save the budgie and goldfish but I personally think the new potatoes would have been fine?

I used to really love those tinned potatoes ? what were they called, can you still get them? I remember bachelor living, a pie in the oven and a saucepan with a tin of potatoes and a tin of mixed vegetables ? meat ?n two veg with hardly any washing up?  cloud9:

I went to M&S Food Only place this evening, warmed it up and then hid the packaging. Excellent. (afternoon of mowing and hedge trimming is my excuse)

Mrs GROWLER went there this afternoon too apparently. Not impressed with the car park for customers being pay and display, and doddery old farts TRYING to manouver their Honda Civics and Micras around.
Some old fart In a Focus was causing chaos. eeek:

Place was FULL of blue rinses too she informs us. ::)

Gerroutofit! The only thing you should be lifting is a pint of Bishop's Finger my good man! Get a grip. (or take some bottles down the allotment with you)
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!
