I picked a fine day to go to a 'new client' meeting up in Northants  evil:  Starts off with packed bus, then, because of the tube strike an overload on the other line which means Reggie Perrin style face in armpit journey to Marylebone... only to find Chiltern Rail have a problem and are switching trains and platforms left right and centre  eeek:
No, Sir, you can't buy a ticket on the train which means I have to go and buy a ticket and of course the CC reader stops working mid-transaction so I miss the bloody train  Banghead
Journey to destination OK but then find that "Rip-Off Station Taxis R Us" fleece me for six quid over the going rate to get to client's offices  evil:

Breathe.... and relax.... Drink, Barman please  cry:

The soundtrack to the drinking isn't bad either - indie, cool electronica and much loved retro and rock classics feature heavily.

happy100  What sort of fun are you not having?

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Is it because everyone is busy? Is it because it is half term? Is it that everyone is out enjoying the summery weather?

Or is that the lowest daily post count ever recorded is due to the absence of the Barman?

Extending that thought further if it is due to Barman's absence are people not posting because he is not here with his sparkling wit and repartee or is it that he simply gabbles away all day long and thus increases the post count all on his own?

Whatever it is we have to up our game or the old b*gger will claim it IS all down to his absence.
