Gary the Tank from my local has had a great start to 2010.
His mum just rang him to tell him he has just found his brother dead in his flat. He was 52.

Oh dear, poor Gary. Hope he's ok.

Will catch up later.

Gary's OK (well, as OK as you can be) but his mum is in pieces. She's fairly old and frail, this could destroy her. You should never outlive your children.

I can understand the state she's in. Never been properly introduced, but have spoken to her.

She phoned him last night to wish him a Happy New Year - no reply, so assumed he was out or in bed. She rang again this morning and still no response. She has the keys to his flat, so went round and found him dead on the floor. The poor woman.
