The Bear Hotel in Wantage. cloud9: A favourite watering hole of mine in times gone by.

Don't know it that well. Went to a wedding reception there once many years ago.

A fine pint of Arkles bitter as I recall, in the days when I enjoyed a beer or two.
I mostly despair

I wonder if any paths have crossed over the years unbeknown to us.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Well ~ you and I have spent years living in various locations quite close to one another but somehow, if we have met, we are unaware of it.

Clearly we share similar tastes or similar fates .... Not sure which but it does prove what a small world it is.

It may be a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it!
