BUT - with the large redundancy is will get within a year, dealers are falling over their feet to give me test rides on all sorts of kit. I shall make the most of their profit hunger for now...

(Can't believe you haven't seen Trainspotting - that was out when I had a 386 processor!)

I remember with affection my first Amstrad word processor. It, together with a daisy wheel printer, is still somewhere in the back of the garage.  rubschin: I wonder if the Antiques Road Show would be interested?
