99% of it ended up in the freezer… why?  shrugs:

The butcher is five minutes down the road and open seven days a week – why we need six months supply of meat in the freezer I simply cannot fathom.  noooo:

BTW how much is meat now?  rubschin:

I think it is cheap here – we paid €6.95 per kilo for a leg of lamb and none of the beef, steaks, etc. was more than €10 per kilo…

The large chicken that i used to buy for the Sunday roast was a mere £3 this time last year. £7 for the same buxom berd now. eeek:
