OH! ~ That usually works for me ......makes me feel much better. Mind you I can't face cooking it when hung-over so I usually leave Missus slumbering and nip out for the papers and a full English at a local greasy spoon. What she doesn't know etc ;)

Mind you I haven't had a hangover since I was forced by the combo of diabetes and Valium to stop drinking. Strangely I don't seem to get the full English for the same reasons ............ so why have I put on so much weight?

Birthday on Friday left me knackered, Missus and children all went to see her mother for the day yesterday so I spent the morning in bed with the papers, lazed around all afternoon and then back to bed early with a vacuum jug of hot water and some green-tea bags + a couple of books. They all got back about 10.30 by which time I had realised that I wasn't really tired. Woke at 5 for no reason other than there is only so much sleep that anyone needs. Missus, having driven 300+ miles yesterday and cleaned her mother's house (old lady had a stroke last year) whilst she was there, was still sound asleep and frankly I didn't think a 5am suggestion of  eyes: would be appreciated so I got up to make myself tea and see who was on the interwebnetthingy.
