Oh yes. I remember these piccies from a few months ago now. Soz. redface:

Most excellent by the looks of it.

What colour carpet set is it? Black I presume?

Have you managed to source some 1275GT side stripes? rubschin:

Carpet is black!

Te-dah!

Wow! Spot on.

Just need a rear bumper, front indicators and a grill badge now then?
Is the badge a '1275 GT' specific one, or just a bogo one in blue and white (iirc)?

I shall be on the hunt next month, but not holding me breath after the past few shows disappointments.
You never know though.

I'd been searching for a Haynes maual for me AX GT for years, and at a show late last year, there piled under a load of crap there was one! eeek:
Asking for a disgusting 3 snotters he was lol: , offered him 2 and it was mine. cloud9:

Just goes to show ey. ;)

I've got a bumper!

I might just buy the lights...  I've bought a couple of sets second hand now and all I have is a pile of scrap... Ship + happeth of tar and all that....

So all I need is a grille badge... Any Clubman one would do....

No it bloody won't.  evil:
It's GOT to be the right one.and iirc, it's got GT written on it. rubschin:

The time, money, effort ,loving care, and  attention to precise detail that you've spent on it, warrants the job being finished off carefully and precisely.
I shall trawl the stands at the NEC, and speak to the Mini O.C lads if they're there.

The grille badge doesn't have GT on it - I have the 'extra' red GT badge...

What does the GT have on it then? rubschin:
Original bogo standard one was just a cross or lines or summat, on a metallic blue background iirc?

I'm going to do a google search on this one now 'cus I'm intrigued.

Classic car 'concourse de elegance' judges  HAVE to see that as near to every detail as possible is correct you know, and MeMi HAS to be a contender.  cloud9:

Seperrate GT badge, yes, I remember now.
You've got that though haven't you?

Is the rest of the grill shown in that piccie off a later model though I wonder? rubschin:

That is what it had when I got it...

But here it says that is from 1977 onwards...

Of course, it is a 1973 'export' model so it may have been a different spec... Shrugs:

No GT badge, so I'm suspicious that that's not the original. rubschin:

Haven't you got an original sales brochure for that year model?
That'll show what it's supposed to have. ;)
Check 'em out on the bed of fleas.

Meanwhile, Nick. GO AWAY if you're not interested.
Go and start a thread on smokin' or summat. ::)

Thats better.  angel1
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

Here y'ar BM.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-Range-Clubman-1275-GT-Sales-Brochure-1973-2842H-/200505005076?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item2eaf079414

Not cheap but a 'must have'

Brochure also confirms that the grill was indeed different on the earlier models.
