Here y'ar BM.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-Range-Clubman-1275-GT-Sales-Brochure-1973-2842H-/200505005076?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item2eaf079414

Not cheap but a 'must have'

Brochure also confirms that the grill was indeed different on the earlier models.

Bought it!

That was August '73 - mine was registered in Cyprus May '73...

I'd kill for one of those steering wheels - rare as rocking horse shite they are....  noooo:

Quite. The one on yours is the plassy one then I presume?
Your grill is off a facelifted mk2 then? You got a mk1 or is that another item to add to this seemingly ever growing list? rubschin:

I bought a new steering wheel - the old one was falling to bits... So It will be safe and driveable - it looks good too!

I'm not sure on the grille - if you search the Intermong for pictures of the 1275GT they have all sorts - as I said perhaps the 'export' models were different too... Shrugs:

The important thing is to get it all up-and-running... can change the grille and stuff later....

I think there were only ever 2 differing grills tbh. rubschin:
That one of yours is defo off a later face lift model.

I thought 'MeMi' was originally a UK spec. and purchased car anyway?

Not that I would know anything about it but having owned a number of Minis over the years they came with various grills.
