B.M. Found this whilst searching for a little something for meself, and thought you might like to see someone elses completed resto. project.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1971-Mini-1275GT-Stunning-Full-Restoration-/290646754512?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43abe584d0

Being picky, I notice the front bumper doesn't sppear to fitted straight, and the rear bumper, from the not very clear picture angle granted, would appear to be the wrong one?
All silver wheels not correct iirc? Certainly don't look right to me. confused:

Gold lower side stripes don't look right either.

What you reckon?
Not convinced I'd be wanting to pay that much for that example tbh.

Just noticed that it's in Nottingham.
We could get the Cock of the Midlands to go and check it out for us!! lol:

Hi growler!  cloud9:

Thanks for that....

The all-silver 'Rostyle' wheels are correct - but I note he doesn't have the chrome centres (I do)....  whistle:

The rear bumper as you say is wrong - mine had one of those but I managed to source a replacement. Rear Clubman bumpers are quite rare...

He has got what looks like an original GT steering wheel though - they are as rare as rocking horse shite... we could send the Cock of the Midlands to retrieve that for us!

So where are we up to exactly, and estimated time of completion?

Meanwhile, I've just bought a mint unmolested and original one owner 22,000 mile mk1 Fiesta Bravo. cloud9:

It's even getting its own personal warm and cumfy secret nest to sleep in. cloud9:

I'll have to photoshop the reg plates out first, and that could take some time and be a step too far for me. redface:

Not actually getting it until early April, as its bedroom won't be ready until then, but when I get it, I can take the plates off to get some piccies up  if I haven't managed the photoshop editing malarky. Banghead

Heelboard sorted!

Engine and gearbox all re-built and ready to start.

I need a couple of circlips to fit the drive shafts - ordered them before I returned to the UK but they still haven't arrived - they forgot to post them...  ::)

So, I've just finished the radius arms, brakes and wheel bearings on the rear... coming on...

get the circlips, fire up the engine then lift the body over the engine and front subby.... then we're away!  cloud9:
