Okay...

I ground to a halt because I needed some small parts for the suspension front and rear and a new drive shaft.

The nightmare of the project has been the delivery charges so if Possible I try and order everything I can from one place. This is difficult because the stock changes all the time and sometimes I go to place an order only to find one of the parts has become unavailable.

Anyhooo... I placed an order on February 4th for a whole list of bits which I managed to find at reasonable cost with one supplier. The suspension parts, plus breathers, some bits for the manifold, servo, a gasket for the oil breather, etc.

Basically, I was fucked about for three months and the bits never arrived - Thank you MiniMail - so I had to re-order with two other suppliers...

Unfortunately, One of the suppliers - Mini Spares - discovered that they didn't have a LH drive shaft in stock after all so I had to re-order that once again (Another £20 delivery charge). I collected the drive shaft from FedEx Limassol on Friday (no door-to-door delivery here).

The other two packages are now sitting in the village Post Office. So as I am now away on my holidays for a week I won't get all of the parts I needed to continue until I get back.

More news then...
