Disappointing show that today, and from what I saw of it, the Malvern showground is a bit of a dump.

250 miles 'round trip to watch the rain batter down, then sunny, then rain, and to listen to bumpkins that I had great difficulty in understanding tbh.

My previously pristine and shiny clean MeMo is now piggin' minging, thanks to farmers sharing their muddy fields with everyone on the roads. Banghead

 noooo:   any pics........... rubschin:

Only three I think.
All the usual suspects were there, and a fine selection of chavved up shite too. ::)
90% Fords today.
Probably no more than 100 cars in total tbh.
Very poor turnout for an Andrew Greenwood show (same outfit as last weekend)

Weather didn't help, and their's now enough wet grass and hay in MeMo to feed a herd of Fresians. evil:

No shows for a couple of weeks now too. sad32:

Going to spend the time looking for a decent electronic ignition system to ease starting and smoother running.

Won't that effect the origin -list of it

What? The electronic ignition?
Nah.

Was discussing originality with a bumpkin today, and he agreed that far too may enthusiasts install far too much shite on their cars, even small items like radios, and every Festa that was there today had the wrong wheels on them...bar one. cloud9:
Sheeple mention that mine is good because it looks just like it did when it came out of the showroom, and in terms of appearance, it's staying that way.

I've got a 1988 Citroen AX GT that I've used for competing, and although I've had to fit a few safety items, alter the brakes and suspension, I did mess around with its appearance a bit, and it looks so wrong.

Forunately I've still got most of the original stuff and gubbins, and will be putting it back to its original looks WHEN I get it back from my mates garage.

Stupid things like painting the original grey wheel arch extensions and side mouldings to match the body colour. Why did I do it? Shrugs:

Apparently BM, there is a special Mini Clubman 1275 GT feature at this years MAHOOSIVE show.

My exhibitors entry is going in today.
Don't know if I've left it too late though.

I may take me shed on wheels and stay there for the weekend. cloud9:

Wha'rile do, is print off the piccy, make a note of the part number, and hit the couple of Mini specialists that I think we've got in the locality.
Failing that, IF I manage to get an entry for the MONSTER show at Tatton in 2 weeks, I'll ask on the trade stands that are bound to be there.

ALWAYS 'appy to 'elp those that are pleasant to me. cloud9:

Mini Moose is coincidentally just going out for an ice cream with a lad that she was at scoohell with, who has just completed re-building a Mini with his Dad.

I have written down the details to relay to him and/or his dad, and failing that, a request for the location of the nearest Mini specialist/s.

Top man!  Thumbs:

Most of the Mini specialists list it as unavailable....

I've only found it at some of the lesser weller known ones and so far they've let me down....

The alternative is a new drive shaft (which comes with them fitted) at £80... TBH i wish I'd ordered one in February...

I had to replace one because the Pot Joint was rusted onto it... If I'd ordered two at the time I could have been driving it by now....  whistle:

Well, someone had to say it!
