BM. You got a close up piccie of the front indicator/side light unit.
The more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm convinced that one I saw last Sunday would have been the right one.
D'ya know if it was a common part for other BL vehicles? rubschin:

Looky here.

I think they were used on the Marina too...

Shit.
That looks mighty like the 2nd hand one I saw for the Wolsley last Sunday.

Wasn't mint mind, and it was 45 snotters.

Are they 'handed'?

Yes, right and left ones are required.

It would need to be mint for £45! I can buy new (albeit aftermarket) ones for £68 (inc VAT)...

Given how fragile they are (the screw posts snap off and the reflector splits) it might just be best to bite the bullet and get new ones eh...?  rubschin:

Ship and happeth of tar and all that...  lol:

BTW, just putting in the front to rear brake line - what a bugger that is!  Banghead

Given how difficult it appears to be to get a decent 2nd hand pair, I think yer right.

If I did find some and they got broken in the post, we'd be devoed. sad32:
At least with the new ones you'd have some comeback I'd have thought.

Brake pipes ey?

My next door neighbour has just spent 1 full week changing his on his Citroen Xantia! eeek:
Absolute grade A+* merit total utter TWAT of a job apparently. evil:
Local garages wouldn't touch it, but he's done it.

Funny, whilst talking to him at the weekend, his missus overheard me talking about putting oily bits and bobs in the wish dosher. lol:
She simply said..."don't even think about it" lol:

Agreed.  Thumbs:

You could pick up a pair that looked good but had broken screw posts inside - then I'd knock you for the munny and you'd never speak to me again!

Oh I would. I'd call you a utter twat on a regular basis, in fact, every time I logged on in here!

Once you get the hang of bending and forming the ends it is okay...

BUT the front to back one is so long it is difficult to hold it in place while you form the next bend... I have four more bends to go - from under the car, up the firewall, behind the steering rack and finally to a 3-way junction just below the Master Cylinder!  lol:

And of course, if you fuck one up and crease the pipe it is back to stage #1

Mind you, I'm using Cunifer which is much easier to form than Copper.  Thumbs:

My mate Graeme came round to help me start the Mini... we were filling up the oil and I went and fetched a funnel out of the kitchen - he was like >>>  Shocked:

I popped it in the wish-dosher afters and it is like new now!  Thumbs:

Good man. Most excellent.
Firm believer in using wish doshers for car parts. Seems almost like they were invented for such purposes. lol:

Presumably you can't get a narrow enough gauge spring to shove down brake pipes for bending purposes?

I wouldn't have gone that way, I'd have took a left just before the steering rack, then another left at the 3-way junction like  whistle:
LiFe - It's an "F" in lie
