I'm almost as excited as you must be.

I reckon deep down inside that LL is well proud of your fine achievment too.

Will finish the grille today, push it outside and take 'finished'* pictures....

When I started this in June 2010 I had no idea that I would still be working on it in 2013!

It was a MUCH bigger project than I ever anticipated...

I'm still working on it and there is still lots to do...

However, all of a sudden you are working away and look up and say to yourself "wow, it is nearly finished!"...

Today was that day for me!

99% of the time I mention MeMi their immediate reaction is "Oh I used to have a Mini and blah, blah, fucking blah..." ten minutes telling me about some owld shite Mini they owned for six months thirty years ago - no interest in MeMi at all...

Indeed. the conversation can be a tad repetative and boring, I'll grant you that, but JUST WAIT 'til the gerlies pull up alongside you at the traffic lights....you do have them out there, don't you?.... , and wind their window down to make complimenting 'small talk' with you.
