Great place name, "Fawkham"

There is Faccombe not far from here, you may know it.

Local pronunciation is the source of much mirth among visitors.

Had a few meals and drinks at the Jack Russell on a number of occasions in the past DS, great desserts  happy088
LiFe - It's an "F" in lie

That's right Growler, it's a 1966 Amazon 122s. Took me 5 years to restore from what it was (don't even ask about the cost) smile:. It used to belong to my neighbour who would give me lifts to school when I was 10yo.

Anyhooo...

Got loadsastuff today including the proper lifting brackets for the engine, so up she came...

Down onto my new trolley...

And out into the sun for dismantling and degreasing...

Chain winch all neatly stowed away so LL won't even notice...

And she begins to come apart...

Well, I'm not sure my methods were entirely orthodox but the front subframe is now out...

I managed to overlook the battery cable (hidden in the grime!) so I cut it at the last moment rather than climb under the subframe and disconnect it!

Subframe looks to be in pretty good condition!
