B.M. You've been a busy teddy!
Luving those seats.
You 'appy with them?
Sorry to hear about your toe btw.
No one ever said this project would be tearless.
All be werth it in the end, and I'm well proud of your progress.
I've been on light duties for the past week because of mi toe but I've been werking on it each day...
Stripped the carb, master cylinders, fan, brake servo, assorted brackets, etc. and re-painted most of them...
Finally managed to remove the last two trunion pins from the rear subframe yesterday... then started to wire brush all the cack off only to discover that it is rusted through on one side... new subby required...
I also whacked the knuckle joint off of the rear trumpets... They are supposed (as I understand it for the 1275 GT) to have two spacing washers between the knuckle and trumpet to adjust the ride height? One of them had three and the other didn't have any...
Anyways, one of the trumpets was also bent so I've decided to replace all four with adjustable versions - not Smootha Ride - just adjustable trumpets that use standard rubber cones and knuckles... I don't know if you can see them
at number 67 here. Then I'll need some shockers too - I was thinking of Gaz GTO-2021 on the fronts and Gaz GTO-2022 on the back... autoshocks.co.uk have them quite cheap...
