WELL?  Shrugs:

I know... I am an poor communicator...  redface:

Quick summary...

Rear subframe completely finished and assembled with wheels, new brakes, brake pipes, regulator, suspension and just about every bloody thing else...

I'm now working on the front bits... have stripped the Swivel Hubs, taken the Drive Flanges off the discs and am cleaning all the bits in preparation for painting... Unfortunately I couldn't save the upper arms so Landlady is muleing a new pair over...

Next I'm stripping the CV and Pot joints to see what can be re-used before placing another mahoosive order for new parts - bloody front wheel bearings are £50 each!

Wheel bearings are horrendously over priced.
I had the same with me Jimny. £80 each eeek:

Ended up being directed to these:
www.bearing-king.co.uk

2 for £22.52 inc. vat. Well sweet. cloud9:

I KNOW THAT!

Answer the question.  evil:

There is a difference.
For instance a rebuilt vehicle requires re-registration in the UK .... A restored vehicle does not.

Define Restoration

Define Rebuild

Which are you attempting?

Rebuild...existing parts that are re-furbishable
Restoration....purchase of new parts that replace old knackered un-refurbishable crap.

That's the way I see it anyway. Shrugs:

Essentially anything reusable is being cleaned and re-painted except for brake components which I am replacing with new for obvious reasons....
