I stripped the front subframe today - looks good...Got my lecky drill out with a wire brush on it and took most of the muck off... then realised I was covered head to foot in black greasy shite... Only had a pair of shorts on as it was soooo hot like... Had to put plastic bags on me feet to make it to the shower...

Got back from walking the dog and this bloke turned up and asked "are you the guy restoring the Mini?"He has fifteen of the bastards! Had a long listen with him for two hours... he strongly recommends the dish washer for restoring dirty parts and such...
