A mechanic mate of mine showed me a bill for repairing a ferrari that had been involved in a crash - the windscreen alone was £27,000!  Shocked:

Next weekend, when I' m HOPEFULLY down in Malvern, I'll take some strange angle and close up poccies of classics, and see if you can identify them.
We could have prizes for the winner even! :thumbsup:

Tell me summat BM. Have you ever shown a car at a classic  car show?

Summat I've noticed this year since I've been taking me MeMo is that there are two distinctive types of personage that display their pride and joy.


1)  Genuinely nice folk, some petrol 'eds. some just every day types, that are all excited and absolutely luv to talk about both their cars, motoring experiences etc, and mine too, and....

2) Utter stuck up ignorant toffee nosed TWATS, that wouldn't give you time of day or piss on you even if you were on fire, and I'm not talking about owners of some of the rare and expensive stuff either.
No, tits with flat caps sitting smugly in their crappy MG Midgets even. eeek:

Talking of the NEC show in November <cough> I went on line to see if I could take me MeMo there to display this year...and put it up for sale at a stoopid ridiculous price too...you never know ey? ;)

Seems the entries have to be in early spring, and only members of clubs are allowed too.
Even then spaces and acceptance id strict and very limited apparently.

Looks like I'll be going as a visitor again then...on me own. lol:
