Only three I think.
All the usual suspects were there, and a fine selection of chavved up shite too.
90% Fords today.
Probably no more than 100 cars in total tbh.
Very poor turnout for an Andrew Greenwood show (same outfit as last weekend)
Weather didn't help, and their's now enough wet grass and hay in MeMo to feed a herd of Fresians.
No shows for a couple of weeks now too.
Going to spend the time looking for a decent electronic ignition system to ease starting and smoother running.
Won't that effect the origin -list of it
What? The electronic ignition?
Nah.
Was discussing originality with a bumpkin today, and he agreed that far too may enthusiasts install far too much shite on their cars, even small items like radios, and every Festa that was there today had the wrong wheels on them...bar one.
Sheeple mention that mine is good because it looks just like it did when it came out of the showroom, and in terms of appearance, it's staying that way.
I've got a 1988 Citroen AX GT that I've used for competing, and although I've had to fit a few safety items, alter the brakes and suspension, I did mess around with its appearance a bit, and it looks so wrong.
Forunately I've still got most of the original stuff and gubbins, and will be putting it back to its original looks WHEN I get it back from my mates garage.
Stupid things like painting the original grey wheel arch extensions and side mouldings to match the body colour. Why did I do it?
Tosser.
