Brake pipes ey?
My next door neighbour has just spent 1 full week changing his on his Citroen Xantia!
Absolute grade A+* merit total utter TWAT of a job apparently.
Local garages wouldn't touch it, but he's done it.
Funny, whilst talking to him at the weekend, his missus overheard me talking about putting oily bits and bobs in the wish dosher.
She simply said..."don't even think about it"
Once you get the hang of bending and forming the ends it is okay...
BUT the front to back one is so long it is difficult to hold it in place while you form the next bend... I have four more bends to go - from under the car, up the firewall, behind the steering rack and finally to a 3-way junction just below the Master Cylinder!
And of course, if you fuck one up and crease the pipe it is back to stage #1
Mind you, I'm using Cunifer which is much easier to form than Copper.
My mate Graeme came round to help me start the Mini... we were filling up the oil and I went and fetched a funnel out of the kitchen - he was like >>>
I popped it in the wish-dosher afters and it is like new now!
