Parts for cars
« on: May 28, 2010, 09:29:59 AM »
 cussing:

I broke the retaining plastic lugs/clips that secure the interior mirror on my off roading Jimny a couple of years ago,.
I took the mirror off so the camera man could obtain maximum visibilty for the filming of my promo vid.

It went back on initially, but more and more it kept falling off due to thegripping  lugs on the clips gradually weakening and breaking away one by one.

10p parts x 2 I guessed.

Went into the Suzuki dealership this week, only to be told that these little plastic parts are NOT available individually, but come only with the complete mirror, for a cool ?75!! Angry9:

You bloody lazy thieving parasites. sick2:

Long and tedious joyous trips around the breakers yards beckons. ::)

As used by all driving instructors and clumsy bears.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=rear+view+suction+mirror&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=4229729000&ref=pd_sl_7m2yky0fbf_b

I've got one of those from last year whilst teaching Growler jnr.
The standard mirror on the Jimny includes the interior light too though, so it need to be fitted back.
